CCBHC Training Series on Veteran Identification, Support, and Resources: Training 5

Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs) provide comprehensive, coordinated, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care for mental health and substance use conditions to a variety of folks, including service members, veterans, and their families (SMVF). Therefore, it is important for CCBHCs and other civilian health care and service providers to be competent in caring for SMVF in a culturally responsive manner that both honors and appreciates their military service.

8 STUDENTS ENROLLED

The five trainings that will ultimately make up this course focus on the CCBHC core service Community Care for Uniformed Service Members and Veterans. Each training will be added to the course after the live presentation (see dates below). The trainings that make up this course are intended to support competency development in caring for SMVF.
