The Family Partnership Learning Series is a collection of brief educational modules to support the expansion of the family partnership model. Designed to support state agency teams to foster a responsive, inclusive and comprehensive approach in partnering with families in the co-design of programs, policies and processes.
The presenter for this module is Eileen Forlenza. She is the parent of an adult-child with disabilities and has effectively represented the family perspective at conferences and public policy discussions at the federal, state and local level. Eileen is a passionate leader and change agent on behalf of children and families with a focus on children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). As a former utilizer of public programs, Eileen is deeply committed to authentic family engagement honoring contributions of all families.
Module Structure
This training is self-paced and available to any user who registers with the Maine Medical Association, Center for Quality Improvement Learning Lab. The training consists of multiple sub-sections or units and will contain various elements, including hyperlinks to readings and web resources, and video lessons.
